This innovative series blends art and science in a way that makes nervous system regulation both accessible and creative. You’ll walk away not only with crochet skills, but also a clear understanding of why this simple, rhythmic practice is so powerful for mental wellness — knowledge you can use for the rest of your life.
I bring to this series over a decade of crochet expertise, years of teaching, my lived experience with CPTSD and ADHD, and my training in social service work. My academic research into crochet and the nervous system confirmed what I had already experienced in my own healing: crochet is more than a hobby — it’s a tool for resilience.
